Chairman
 The Company’s Chairman is Alex West MBE from Gardenstown on the south side of the Moray Firth in Scotland. He is well known in Scottish fishing industry circles. He is a past President of the Scottish Fishermen’s Federation and Chairman of his own Company Westward Fishing in Fraserburgh which owns /part owns and manages a number of white fish, prawn and pelagic vessels. He is also a Director of the Scottish Fishermen’s Organisation the largest Producers Organisation in the UK and a Board member of the Sea Fish Industry Authority.
Vice Chairman
The Vice Chairman is George Carter from Lybster on the north side of the Moray Firth. He is well known and highly respected in the fishing community and a successful fishermen in his day.
Remaining Directors
 Roddy McColl, Managing Director, is a Solicitor in Aberdeen who has been associated with the company since it was incorporated in 1980. He was a Partner for some 14 years with Iain Smith and Co in Aberdeen until 1 May 2000 when he became a Consultant at which time he also set up his own Company to provide Company Secretarial and management services to a group of clients including Fishermen’s Petroleum. He is a well known figure within the Scottish Fishing Industry having acted for a variety of Trade Protection Associations since 1972.

 Derek Duthie is a Chartered Banker and also holds a BSc in Marine Resource Management. He held a variety of positions with Clydesdale Bank before moving to the fishing industry in 1998 and took up the position of director of administration and finance with Scottish Fishermen's Federation/SFF Services Limited in 2010. He joined the board of Fishermen's Petroleum Company in 2002.
- David West has been a Skipper and partner in pelagic fishing vessels for over thirty years. He is a Director of Castlehill LLP, a family owned business which is involved in pelagic fishing in Scotland and the Faeroe Islands.
- George R West has been a Skipper and partner in pelagic fishing vessels for more that twenty years. He too is a Director of Castlehill LLP. He is also a director of the Scottish Pelagic Fishermen’s Association Ltd and the Scottish Fishermen’s Organisation Ltd.
- Mrs Anne Nicol is also a Director of Westward Fishing along with her father Alex West. Anne recently graduated with a BSc Open Degree.
- John W Buchan has been a successful skipper for the last 25 years and is currently skipper /Owner of the Atlantic Challenge PD197 operating from Peterhead. He is a Director of the Scottish White Fish Producer’s Association Ltd.
